Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Product Development Engineer Failure Analysis (FA) to support advanced semiconductor product development and root-cause investigation. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to analyze device failures validate design robustness and provide insights that enhance product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed electrical and physical failure analysis on semiconductor devices.
- Identify root causes of failures using FA methodologies tools and lab techniques.
- Collaborate with design test reliability and process engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by validating device performance and failure modes.
- Develop FA reports documentation and corrective action recommendations.
- Interpret test data analyze trends and suggest design/process improvements.
- Utilize FA tools such as SEM FIB TEM PEM OBIRCH EMMI or related technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Materials Science Physics or related field.
- 3 7 years of experience in semiconductor failure analysis device characterization or product engineering.
- Hands-on experience with FA tools (SEM FIB TEM etc.) and electrical debug techniques.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics fabrication and reliability mechanisms.
- Ability to interpret test data and communicate findings clearly.
- Experience supporting NPI or high-volume manufacturing is a plus.
