Your impact:

As Learning & Development manager you will:

• Develop the strategic direction for learning and development across VIB together with management and team leads with a strong focus on soft skills.
• Translate VIBs strategic priorities (e.g. digital transformation organizational transitions) into targeted learning initiatives that build future-ready capabilities.
• Design a comprehensive learning ecosystem including blended learning programs (classroom online coaching mentoring) and deliver workshops where your expertise adds value.
• Build strong partnerships with internal experts and external providers to bring innovative high-quality training to our learners.
• Perform training needs analyses identify skill gaps and turn insights into concrete development pathways.
• Work closely with colleagues responsible for scientific and technology-focused training activities and with the HR team.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning supporting career development and implementing performance and development programs in close collaboration with HR.
• Measure and improve impact using data and feedback to refine programs and benchmark against best practices.
• Manage L&D budgets and governance ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with L&D policies.
• Stay ahead of trends maintaining a strong professional network and bringing innovative learning solutions to VIB.

Your profile

• Solid expertise in learning strategies and modern training methodologies.
• Practical experience in change management to support organizational transitions.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and their implementation.
• Familiarity with e-learning tools and digital learning solutions.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and turn insights into actionable improvements.
• A collaborative service-oriented mindset combined with the confidence to advise stakeholders and drive culture change.
• A genuine passion for learning. You continuously invest in your own development and bring fresh insights and innovation into the organization.
