Job Summary

We are partnering with a leading global player in the industrial and chemical sector to hire a Head of Commercial. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will drive the company’s commercial growth across key chemical markets while leading a team of experienced Sales and Account Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive all sales activities to achieve revenue margin and market expansion targets across the chemical and petrochemical sectors.
  • Manage mentor and develop a team of Sales Managers ensuring strong sales execution customer engagement and consistent target achievement.
  • Build and grow the sales pipeline by identifying new customers developing leads and converting opportunities into long-term business.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies customer acquisition plans and account growth tactics aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor team performance set KPIs and conduct regular sales reviews to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Providing business direction as well as the developing and implementing market plan.
  • Work closely with marketing operations and technical teams to deliver solutions that support customer requirements and ensure high service satisfaction.
  • Gather and report market intelligence including customer trends competitor activities and emerging opportunities to guide sales strategy.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting pipeline tracking and reporting for management visibility and planning.
  • Represent the company at industry events conferences and customer meetings to build brand presence and expand the network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Chemical Engineering Chemistry or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of proven sales leadership experience in the chemical petroleum petrochemical or related industrial sectors.

  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets expanding customer portfolios and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales cycles pricing strategies key account management and customer relationship building.
  • Strong negotiation communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage regional or international customers.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting pipeline management and performance tracking.
