- Develop a clear 3–5 year market-building roadmap for USA & Canada.
- Conduct market studies on consumer trends competitive landscape pricing certifications and channel opportunities.
- Identify the right product mix price points packaging and go-to-market strategies for each region.
- Define channel strategy — distributors wholesalers retailers e-commerce sellers gifting partners and large-format stores.
Market Development & Expansion
- Build the market from scratch with high-ownership and entrepreneurial drive.
- Identify and onboard distributors agents importers and strategic partners.
- Lead outreach efforts trade show participation networking and industry connections.
- Create a healthy sales pipeline with high-conversion opportunities.
Key Account Acquisition & Management
- Open and develop business with key accounts.
- Build strong relationships with buyers decision-makers and sourcing heads.
- Ensure timely sample submissions pricing proposals onboarding documentation and follow-ups.
- Drive repeat orders and long-term partnerships.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Delivery
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for USA & Canada.
- Plan seasonal assortments and sales campaigns.
- Prepare quotations pricing structures and negotiation strategies.
- Forecast sales accurately and present regular MIS to management.
Brand Positioning & Local Insights
- Work with marketing to ensure brand positioning for the North American consumer.
- Share insights on colours aesthetics packaging preferences and compliance norms.
- Recommend region-specific products and innovation opportunities.
Internal Coordination & Execution Management
- Collaborate with production supply chain design QC and export documentation teams.
- Ensure delivery schedules quality expectations and compliance standards are met.
- Provide early warnings and solution plans to avoid delays.
- Share customer feedback to influence product development.
Timely Payment Collection & Risk Control
- Ensure 100% timely payment collection from all customers.
- Conduct background checks and financial due diligence.
- Maintain complete compliance with export documentation and regulations.
Education & Experience
- Graduate/MBA in International Business Marketing or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of international sales/business development experience.
- Experience dealing with US and/or Canadian customers is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Market-building capabilities.
- Negotiation communication and presentation skills.
- Export documentation and trade compliance.
- Problem-solving and commercial acumen.
- Familiarity with North American distribution and retail structures.
