Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on skills in Java 8 JSP Spring Boot and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for developing enterprise-grade applications mentoring junior developers and contributing to end-to-end project delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain Java/J2EE and Spring Boot based applications.
Build and update web components using JSP/Servlets and Spring MVC.
Develop RESTful APIs microservices and backend modules.
Work closely with product owners QA architects and cross-functional teams.
Participate in daily Agile ceremonies and provide regular project updates.
Perform code reviews troubleshoot issues and remove blockers for junior developers.
Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Collaborate in requirement analysis estimation and sprint planning.

Mandatory Skills

Strong expertise in Java 8 (Streams Lambda Functional programming).
Hands-on experience with JSP Servlets Spring Boot Spring MVC.
Good understanding of J2EE architecture.
Experience with SQL / Oracle / MySQL.
Good knowledge of REST APIs JSON and integration work.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
Ability to mentor juniors and work independently.

Good to Have

Experience in banking or BFSI domain.
Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
Basic DevOps exposure (Git Jenkins CI/CD).
Understanding of front-end basics (HTML CSS JavaScript).
