Description
In this role you will provide expert care in the field of Otolaryngology addressing a wide range of conditions related to the ear nose and throat. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with ENT conditions
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures as needed adhering to best practices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Stay updated on advancements in Otolaryngology and healthcare trends
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license in the state of Ohio
- Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in a similar role or specialty preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-hour clinic shifts
Clinic OR and call shifts are available
Level I Trauma facility
Patient Census: 36-40 per day
All pediatric ENT procedures are required including airways
Support Staff: 3 APPs
EMR: Epic
Pediatric fellowship is strongly preferred
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
