What would you do as ourSenior Cloud & IAM Developer

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Cloud & IAM Developer to strengthen our global identity and cloud security capabilities within ASSA ABLOY Global this role you will take the lead in designing developing and maintaining secure scalable and innovative Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across multi-cloud environments.

You will play a key role in ensuring that our digital ecosystem remains secure and efficient enabling seamless access for users across platforms such as AWS Azure with Okta. Working in close collaboration with architects developers and security specialists you will help define the technical direction for our global IAM strategy from architecture and implementation to governance and optimization.

You will be reporting to the Manager Cloud and Product IT Operations.

You would also:

• Design build and maintain enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS Azure with Okta).
• Configure administer and optimize the Okta identity platform including SSO integrations SCIM provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Implement and manage authentication and authorization flows using modern identity standards such as OpenID Connect OAuth 2.0 and SAML 2.0.
• Establish and enforce IAM governance frameworks access policies and security best practices across all platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop automation monitoring and continuous improvement processes for secure and scalable identity infrastructure.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

• 5 years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management including deep expertise in Okta AWS IAM and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure authentication frameworks using OpenID Connect OAuth 2.0 and SAML 2.0.
• Strong understanding of SCIM provisioning directory services (AD/LDAP) and automated user lifecycle management.
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell Python or Bash) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and a passion for building scalable compliant and secure cloud identity solutions.

With a proactive and structured approach you take ownership of challenges and continuously look for ways to improve processes and solutions. Your strategic mindset enables you to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring accuracy and security in your work.

Although this role does not include formal leadership responsibilities you are expected to operate at a senior developer level and naturally take on a mentoring role as the team grows.
