Job Summary
Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering English language lessons.
Support students with reading writing listening and speaking activities.
Provide individualized or small-group instruction to reinforce key concepts.
Help create teaching materials worksheets and classroom resources.
Support classroom management to maintain a positive respectful environment.
Assist in assessing student progress and providing feedback to the teacher.
Encourage student participation and monitor engagement during activities.
Help organize classroom displays learning centers and educational tools.
Participate in school events meetings and training sessions as needed.
Offer additional tutoring or support for students who need extra help.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Previous experience assisting in a classroom or tutoring is an asset.
Understanding of basic teaching methods and learning strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience adaptability and a positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
A high school diploma is required; post-secondary education or TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus.
Experience working with children or students of varied age groups.
Cultural awareness and sensitivity especially in multilingual environments.
Creativity in developing activities and classroom materials.
