Role: Accounts Administrator
Location: Huntingdon
Hours: 37 hrs Monday - Friday
Salary: 24000
Were looking for a highly organised Accounts Administrator to join a busy international business and support the Accounts Team across a wide range of responsibilities. This is a hands-on role where accuracy attention to detail and the ability to meet accounting deadlines are essential.
What will you be doing in the accounts administrator role
- Processing daily sales invoices credit notes refunds and remittances
- Producing monthly statements and supporting reconciliations
- Handling customer queries (invoices statements PODs)
- Supporting credit control and running initial credit checks
- Emailing invoices to overseas customers and resolving queries
- Assisting with staff expenses company credit cards and month-end tasks
- General administrative support across the department
Experience/qualifications required:
- Previous experience in an accounts role
- Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to self-check work
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with MS Office particularly Excel
- Highly organised proactive and able to manage your own workload
- GCSE Maths & English (C/4)
- Interest in working towards AAT Level 2 (desirable)
- Driving licence and own transport required due to location
