Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Room Attendant. As a Room Attendant you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests rooms are clean comfortable and presentable. Your exceptional cleaning skills and attention to detail will contribute to providing a pleasant experience for our guests during their stay. Room Attendants Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms including bathrooms bedrooms and common areas ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Strip beds change linens and make beds in accordance with established hotel standards.
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries towels and linens in guest rooms.
- Vacuum carpets sweep and mop floors and dust surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
- Empty trash and replace garbage bags in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues damages or equipment malfunctions to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and inform the housekeeping supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
- Assist with laundry duties including sorting washing drying folding and ironing linens towels and other hotel textiles.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both yourself and your guests.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and timely manner providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping within the hotel hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and infection control procedures.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
