Job Summary

Schaeffler-NTU Corporate Lab () is hiring a Project Officer. The key objective is to support efforts to design fabricate and control a soft robotic gripper for the applications specified by Schaeffler Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This project involves the modeling design fabrication and control of a soft gripper that can be used for manufacturing purposes.

  • Modeling and designing the proposed soft gripper

  • Fabricate and eventually control the soft gripper

  • Conducting experiments to evaluate the soft gripper

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

  • Applicants with strong background in the areas of mechanical design robotics solid mechanics or other relevant topics are encouraged to apply.

  • The candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills and also the ability to work independently
