What you will be doing in this role

Sydney Adventist Hospital is launching a state-of-the-art Interventional Neuro Radiology (INR) Hybrid Theatre designed to deliver advanced neuro-spinal and endovascular care using the latest imaging and surgical technology.

We are looking for Perioperative Scrub Scout Registered Nurses & Interventional Radiology Registered Nurses who want to build specialised skills work with cutting-edge technology and help shape a brand-new clinical service. This is a rare opportunity to work in a purpose-built hybrid theatre environment supporting complex neuro-interventional procedures while collaborating with a highly specialised multidisciplinary team.

In this role you will gain exposure to advanced procedures such as endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation (AVM) treatments and a range of complex neuro-interventional procedures. The role also involves supporting spine procedures and minimally invasive neurosurgical imaging while participating in high-acuity perioperative and interventional workflows.

You will work closely with interventional neuroradiologists neurosurgeons anaesthetists and perioperative specialists utilising advanced hybrid imaging systems within a collaborative and innovative clinical environment.

Whowere looking for

• Must have experience as a scrub/scout nurse and/or within interventional radiology
• Demonstrate a commitment to professional development
• Excel in dynamic high-acuity clinical environments
• Show strong teamwork communication and problem-solving skills
• Are interested in building expertise in neuro-interventional procedures
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Must have full Australian working rights
