Responsibilities
Northside Hospital is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Critical Care Services to lead a high-performing team across multiple critical care units at our Gwinnett campus the central hub of our cardiac trauma and advanced care programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to build upon award-winning excellence expand cutting-edge programs and shape the future of critical care at one of the regions most rapidly growing hospitals.
Responsibilities include -
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple critical care service lines including:
- CVICU Surgical Trauma Neuro (STN) CCU and Medical ICU
- Rapid Response/CMU
- Medical Intermediate Care Cardiac Intermediate Care and Progressive Care Units
- Lead and mentor two operations managers and their teams to achieve clinical excellence operational efficiency and exceptional patient outcomes.
- Partner closely with clinical and administrative leadership to align unit performance with systemwide goals and emerging service line strategies.
- Drive program development and growth initiatives with a focus on expanding trauma cardiovascular and advanced care capabilities.
- Foster a culture of engagement collaboration and continuous improvement across multidisciplinary teams.
- Serve as a visible inspiring leader who champions staff development retention and team cohesion.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
1. Masters degree in Nursing or BS degree in Nursing or related healthcare field and a minimum of five (5) years nursing experience with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or equivalent combination of education training and experience.
2. Good written and oral communication skills.
