The ideal candidate will lead a team responsible for infrastructure design configuration planning documentation and technical oversight of subcontracted deployments to ensure solutions meet performance availability and resiliency requirements in a NIST 800-53 enclave. This role is central to building and maintaining robust systems that power mission-critical operations and modernization youre supporting safety validation efforts or leading teams on major FAA programs your work will directly impact the millions of passengers and aviation professionals who rely on safe efficient airspace operations every day.
In this position you will:
- Lead a team to design and planinfrastructure systems ensuring alignment with performance and availability goals.
- Ensure configuration documentation technical diagrams and deployment procedures are fully developed and maintained.
- Providetechnical oversight of subcontractor deployments ensuring solutions adhere to defined standards and requirements.
- Execute capacity planning and system optimization effortsto enhance infrastructure resiliency.
- Lead/collaborate with engineers architects and project managers tointegrate infrastructure solutions into modernization programs.
- Overseetroubleshooting and root cause analysisfor infrastructure-related issues.
- Ensure optimal system performance implement improvements for scalability and reliability.
- Ensure NIST 800-53 compliance withsecurity operational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 12 years of experience.
- Minimum of 5 years management experience.
- Experience building/maintaining NIST 800-53 compliant systems.
- Proven experience leadinginfrastructure engineering systems administration or related roles.
- Proven experience leading server storage networking and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of performance availability and resiliency best practices.
- Experience managing technical documentation and coordinating deployments with subcontractors or external vendors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional fast-paced environments.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Target Salary Range
$146000 - $234000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
