Building Services Leader - NSW
Responsibilities
- Under general supervision performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter. Devises new approaches to problems encountered.
- Effectively lead and coordinate project Building services personnel (as and when required) to maximise collaboration efficiency productivity and consistency in delivery.
- Participate during the proposal stage of projects to support bid development and preparing the pre-contract project scope methodology and hours/fees build up.
- Plans schedules and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation selection and adaptation of engineering techniques procedures and criteria.
- Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements unsuitability of conventional materials and difficult coordination requirements.
- Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. Job tasks correctly performed impact indirectly on cost containment efficiency profitability or operations.
- Evaluates and pursues opportunities based on fit with organizational strategies and priorities
- Develops new approaches and solutions to problems with the greatest strategic impact on the business
- Identifies issues related to emerging customer and market needs
- Contributes to outcomes by utilizing strengths focusing on increasing benefits and minimizing risk.
- Consistently behave in a manner that reflects KBRs values.
- Celebrate examples of staff demonstrating KBRs Values.
- Address individuals who act contrary to KBRs values or Code of Conduct.
- Seek to continuously improve on the experience your staff have each day while working at KBR.
