Responsibilities

Responsible for providing diabetes self-management education and training to groups according to the Scope of Practice Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional performance for Diabetes Educators (AADE 2005).

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
1. Minimum of 1 year experience providing diabetes education to individuals and/or groups 2. Certified Diabetes Educator or who is eligible to become a certified diabetes educator. 3. Lead and manage group classes.
PREFERRED:
1. Knowledgeable about current diabetes treatment management.

Work Hours:

7:30-4:00
