We are seeking a dedicatedSpeech-Language Pathologistto join their Rehabilitative Services team. This position focuses primarily onpediatric patients with opportunities to also support adults in an outpatient setting. Youll play a key role in helping patients of all ages reach their highest potential in communication and swallowing function.
What Youll Do:
Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for pediatric and adult patients.
Provide direct therapy in an outpatient clinic setting focusing primarily on pediatrics.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care.
Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy goals strategies and home programming.
Document evaluations progress notes and outcomes in compliance with policies and regulations.
Participate in departmental projects in-service education and ongoing professional development.
Support the growth of innovative programs and services within outpatient speech therapy.
What Were Looking For:
Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain.
One to two years of pediatric or hospital-based experience preferred;new graduates with strong pediatric practicum experience are encouraged to apply.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire).
