Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead strategic initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This role will focus on driving capital investments advancing automation and smart factory technologies and leading process engineering and maintenance activities to enable continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Capital Projects

Lead the planning justification and execution of capital investment projects aimed at modernizing manufacturing operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes budgets and timelines.

Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards throughout project execution.

Process Engineering & Continuous Improvement

Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization complying with safety quality and regulatory standards

Lead Kaizen Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing projects to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Standardize best practices across sites and ensure scalability of solutions.

Automation & Smart Factory

Develop and implement automation strategies to enhance productivity quality and flexibility.

Evaluate and integrate Industry 4.0 technologies including IoT AI and data analytics into manufacturing processes.

Partner with IT and digital transformation teams to support smart factory initiatives.

Maintenance Strategy

Oversee the development and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Support reliability engineering initiatives to improve equipment uptime and performance.

Drive digitalization of maintenance processes through CMMS and data-driven tools.

Leadership & Collaboration

Manage and develop a team made by engineers and technical specialists.

Foster a culture of innovation accountability and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with global stakeholders to align engineering strategies with business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).

Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Proven track record in leading capital investment projects and automation initiatives.

Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma TPM and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Excellent leadership communication and project management skills.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
