Schedule & Compensation
3 days/week (alternating weekends)
11.5-hour shifts
34.5 hours/week
Shift: 7:30 PM 8:00 AM
Travel Rate: $2754 $2979 per week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Post Partum/Mother Baby Registered Nurse to join a compassionate and high-performing maternal health this role you will provide essential support to new mothers and newborns during the post-delivery recovery period within a busy community-focused hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized postpartum and newborn care in a supportive patient-centered environment.
Perform IV insertions phlebotomy and assist with conscious sedation procedures.
Monitor maternal and infant health to ensure safe and appropriate recovery.
Educate families on newborn care feeding safety practices and postpartum expectations.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Minimum 2 years of maternal and child health experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in IV insertion phlebotomy and conscious sedation.
Active New York State RN License (NYSED verified).
AHA BLS ACLS and NRP certifications.
