Job Summary
Valley View Village a Cassia community is hiring a Cookto join our culinary team! In this role youll have the opportunity to prepare meals that bring comfort and nourishment to our residents. Whether youre just starting out or looking to build on your culinary experience we provide a welcoming environment where you can grow your skills. Hours: 10:00am to 7:00 pm

CookResponsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to residents by leading and motivating team members to provide fast friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
- Prepare and assist cookingmeals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards. This will also include feature/specials and grill service.
- Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
- Help maintain a clean and sanitary culinary department.
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
- Assist residents employees and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Prior cooking experience in institutional and/or quantity cooking equivalentpreferred but not required. Well train you for this position!
- Ability to speak and read English.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with others.
