The role:
We are seeking an experienced engineer to strengthen adynamic Level 2 support team (4 people) for one of our clients in Zurich.
This is ahands-on high-responsibility 100% on-site roleideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems optimizing systems and ensuring flawless end-user experience.
You will be the technical reference forMicrosoft environments VMware/Omnissa VDI platforms endpoint security monitoring and automation.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Workstation Management
Handle incidents and requests escalated to Level 2 & 3.
Assist and coordinate Level 1 support for issues related to Outlook Exchange Teams and other Microsoft services.
Administer and support theOmnissa platform(formerly VMware EUC: Horizon Workspace ONE UEM) forVDI/DaaS and endpoint environments.
Manage and optimize theMicrosoft stack(Windows 10/11 Intune/SCCM Entra ID Teams).
Ensure thestability compliance and securityof workstations and mobile devices.
Monitoring Performance & Optimization
Administer on-premise monitoring tools for infrastructure health and capacity.
Implement and operateuser experience monitoring tools(ControlUp or equivalent).
Diagnose and optimize infrastructure paths to improve performance and stability.
Deploy automated benchmarks and integrate them into the monitoring layer.
Identity Security & Deployment
Configure and administerEntra ID (Azure AD)and access policies.
AdministerMicrosoft Teamsto ensure secure and reliable collaboration.
Define and executeapplication OS and patch deployment strategies.
Applysecurity and compliance best practiceson endpoints.
Automation Testing & DevOps
Develop and maintainPowerShell scriptsfor automation and optimization.
Contribute toCI/CD pipelinesusing GitHub for infrastructure automation.
Knowledge ofTerraform(or equivalent IaC tool) is a plus.
Apply testing and validation practices to ensure deployment quality.
Service Management & Documentation
UseServiceDesk (ITSM)for incident change and problem management.
Participate incmdm/MDM administrationfor endpoint and mobile security.
Write clear documentation:runbooks technical guides and proceduresfor L1/L2 teams.
Ensureknowledge sharingand effective communication between teams.

Strong expertise inMicrosoft technologiesandendpoint management(Intune/SCCM Windows Teams Entra ID Exchange Outlook).
