We are looking Emergency Medical Assistants or Emergency Medical Technicians to join us working in Hauraki region.

This is a permanent relief role with a base station of Thames and working 4 x 4 DDNN across Thames Paeroa Waihi Whangamata and Whitianga stations.

We are looking for individuals who are adaptable and can settle into our team with ease work alongside both paid and volunteer staff and provide a high level of care to our patients. The ideal applicants would have a positive demeanour willingness to contribute to station portfolios and champion clinical excellence.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A current St John Authority to Practice at First Responder or EMT
• Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
• Excellent driving record
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• A genuine commitment to the well-being of others
• The ability to work under pressure
• Evidence of CCE
• New Zealand citizenship permanent residency or work visa
• Demonstrated behaviours that align with Hato Hone St Johns core values - Do the right thing (Mahi Tika) Side by Side (Tū Tahi) Straight Up (Mahi Pono) Make it better (Whakapai Ake) Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui)
