About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and submission of personal tax compliance for a varied client base including high-net-worth individuals entrepreneurs and professionals

  • Reviewing and overseeing the work of junior team members to ensure technical accuracy and quality

  • Providing coaching mentoring and technical support to less experienced staff

  • Advising on complex personal tax matters such as capital gains tax inheritance tax and residency issues

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships by offering proactive advice and identifying additional advisory opportunities

  • Staying up to date with personal tax legislation and HMRC requirements

  • Ensuring all compliance deadlines are met efficiently and effectively

What Were Looking For

Key Requirements

  • ATT qualified (minimum); CTA or equivalent experience highly desirable

  • At least 3 years UK accountancy practice experience in personal tax

  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and review the work of others

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards

  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Solid background in personal tax compliance and advisory

  • Familiarity with current HMRC requirements and tax legislation

  • Experience with tax software and digital recordkeeping (desirable)
