We are hiring Commis - Grill 79 Kitchen(Pastry);
As a Commis - Grill 79 Kitchen(Pastry) we rely on you to:
- Understand the pre-service setup workflow for the pastry station.
- Prepare daily pastry; ensure taste plating hygiene standards and serving speed meet hotel restaurant requirements. Adjust pastries per guest special requests.
- Manage receiving and storage of pastry ingredients to guarantee freshness and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pastry station work area; strictly follow hotel SFS food hygiene and personal grooming rules. Complete food safety/hygiene records and inspect equipment functionality.
- Track ingredient consumption pre/post-meal; restock timely to eliminate waste. Notify the bakery to prepare bread basket promptly.
We are looking for someone who:
- 1 year and above of pastry experience in 5-star hotels high-end restaurants or specialized pastry shops.
- Eager to learn and update pastries; able to absorb new pastry concepts adapt to rapid innovation and proactively discover creative pastry ideas via new media.
- Capable of working systematically under high pressure during busy periods.
- Strong sense of responsibility detail-oriented and proactive.
- Excellent teamwork skills and team spirit.
- Understand and comply with food hygiene/safety regulations; maintain a clean work area.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment/tableware; adhere to high personal hygiene standards.
