The Delivery Driver plays an essential role in supporting 5th Axis production operations by transporting materials products and equipment safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for loading and unloading materials navigating delivery routes maintaining delivery logs and representing 5th Axis professionally at all times. If you take pride in precision safety and delivering excellent service this role is for you.
What You Will Be Doing
- Create internal pack slip requests for scheduled deliveries.
- Load unload prepare inspect and operate delivery vehicles.
- Use handheld devices for routing and delivery information.
- Navigate a variety of delivery routes throughout the region.
- Pick up products company orders and additional items as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and basic logs.
- Perform basic delivery vehicle service checks and report mechanical concerns.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and safe for transport.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload vehicles regularly.
- Follow DOT regulations and all company safety standards.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when delivery routes are complete.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 23 years of delivery or related experience recommended.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles forklifts and navigation tools.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
- Strong teamwork and a professional attitudealways representing 5th Axis with pride.
