Permacon a CRH Company is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APGand operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.
We are currently seeking a Hardscape Sales Representative to cover GTA East.
About the Role
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales the Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving sales targets by nurturing existing relationships and developing new business opportunities with hardscape professionals.
This role involves building strong customer connections offering technical support managing projects and ensuring high-quality after-sales service. You will also maintain CRM records expand your professional network and represent Permacon at trade shows and promotional events.
Main Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Support Ensure presence and visibility with customers
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors installers and landscape designers
- Assess customer needs and provide tailored technical assistance
- Educate customers on proper installation of products
- Deliver exceptional after-sales service and manage customer claims
- Sales Operations manage & grow sales through strategic account planning and process
- Monitor and support new construction projects
- Schedule and conduct client meetings
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and agreements
- Market Development (prospecting) identify market gaps and develop plans for strategic growth
- Participate in trade shows dealer and showroom events
- Stay informed about competitor activities
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferably in building products
- Strong communication prospecting and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid drivers license
- Willingness to travel overnight occasionally
