Description: Years Experience: Intermediate (4-9yrs) Senior (10yrs)
- The C&SU Instrumentation trade person has the primary responsibility to ensure all Instrumentation work taken by him/her are completed in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements.
- Modifying repairing testing troubleshooting inspecting and calibrating instrumentation installations.
- verifying installation wiring and terminations of control panels instrumentation junction boxes and field instruments.
- Identifying and documenting deficiencies. Provide input and follow up on deficiencies to make sure they are addressed and closed satisfactorily.
- Completing Cameco defined commissioning documentation (e.g. check sheets ITPs and test reports)
- Recording final and accurate as-built/as-left conditions on redline drawings datasheets and project documentation.
- Participating in commissioning team meetings including without limitation daily toolbox safety and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
Skills/Previous Experience
- Journeyperson status as instrumentation mechanic or technician.
- Previous experience in a brown field commissioning environment is required.
- Hands on proven experience in commissioning and start-up activities is required.
- Previous experience in a nuclear facility is preferred.
- Safety certificate is highly preferred.
- Proficient computer skills required.
