The Instruction and Reference Librarian will be responsible for providing direct service to users through course-related instruction consultations and responses to reference inquiries. This position will also participate substantially in the development of MERITs addition the librarian will work to embody a strong proactive patron-service ethic.
This position works in MERIT (Media Education Research and Information Technology) a vibrant service unit with a collaborative team of teaching and learning specialists information technologists and librarians that stewards the School of Educations Information Environment. Through ongoing leadership in the adoption of emerging technologies MERIT empowers members of the School of Education community and its partners to achieve excellence. This position reports to the Public Services Manager.
