Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst with a solid understanding of automotive systems and components to support engineering design and change management activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vehicle architecture including systems such as propshafts IP consoles and overall vehicle integration and will provide data-driven insights to enhance performance efficiency and decision-making across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze engineering and manufacturing data related to vehicle systems and components.
- Support Engineering Change Management (ECM) by maintaining accurate data and impact analyses.
- Develop maintain and automate reports and dashboards using Excel (advanced formulas macros) and Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Create and maintain data models to support cost weight and performance analysis.
- Ensure data integrity accuracy and consistency across multiple sources and systems.
- Prepare visual reports and summaries for technical and management reviews.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Data Analytics or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in an automotive or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems ideally including propshafts IP console closures or chassis components.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables macros VBA).
- Experience in Power BI for data visualization and performance dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working remotely in an English-speaking global environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with engineering change processes and vehicle BOM data.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter PLM or automotive data management systems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical data in a clear concise way.
