Senior IT Business Analyst (mf)

At ARHS Group part of Accenture we are hiring a Senior IT Business Analyst (m/f) to bridge business needs and technical implementation within a European public-sector environment in Luxembourg. You will play a hands-on role in requirements analysis backlog management testing coordination and functional support activities.

THE WORK:

• Gather analyze and document detailed business and functional requirements for IT solutions.
• Translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria aligned with Agile practices.
• Model processes and workflows (UML) to support automation and operational improvements.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders Product Owners and development teams.
• Manage and refine backlogs ensuring requirements are complete prioritized and development-ready.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Design and validate test cases and participate in end-to-end testing activities.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collect business sign-off on deliverables.
• Provide reporting on project progress risks and resource planning.
• Produce and maintain project documentation including business requirements user manuals and procedural guides.
• Support application operations and functional issue resolution when required.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration.

HERES WHAT YOULL NEED:

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst in large financial institutions or European/international organizations.
• Strong background in SDLC requirements gathering and UML modeling.
• Experience working on e-banking and lending application projects.
• Solid experience in software testing including writing test cases and coordinating UAT.
• Ability to produce clear documentation including business requirements test scenarios and user manuals in English.
• Strong skills in SQL and data quality-related activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel MS Project) and tools such as Jira and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level); French (B2 level) is an asset.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Experience working within Agile environments and backlog management processes.
