Position Overview:The Assistant Manager in the RTR domain is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial reporting processes. This role involves managing a team coordinating with various departments ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting month-end quarter-end and year-end closing Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead the RTR team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.- Coordinate and review month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities.- Ensure compliance with accounting standards company policies and regulatory requirements.- Manage and resolve complex accounting issues and discrepancies.- Review journal entries reconciliations and financial data for accuracy and completeness.- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.- Monitor team performance provide training and foster professional development.- Collaborate with other finance teams such as Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable and Controllership.- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to & Skills:- Post Graduate degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Masters preferred).- Professional certifications such as CPA CA CMA or ACCA are advantageous.- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in RTR or general accounting functions.- Strong understanding of accounting standards (GAAP IFRS).- Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.- Leadership abilities and team management experience.- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Workday Oracle or SAP ) and MS Office tools.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.**Desired Attributes:**- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.- Ability to work under tight deadlines.- Proactive approach to process improvements.- Adaptability to changing priorities and environments.
