Position overview:

To be a member of the AME team for the JIT Seating Operations project in the Middle East for the new Project / Launch. Working within the AME team specifically on the Industrialization of the 2 projects. Working with multi-functional departments on the project management and Industrial Engineering. Managing and leading the Greenfield project to deliver the complete project to a successful conclusion from the initial design / development phases (Product / process and Equipment) equipment specification procurement & installation / commissioning then supporting SOP and launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Project management

Project management to meet customer milestones.

PAR support and Process book revisions

Customer / Sales interfacing on project progressions

Customer input on deliverables / change management control

Timing Plan updates / management to meet all milestones

Internal Launch Readiness Reviews

Liaison with Lear Foam / Trim / JIT operations (On site operations)

Ensure all AME Standards are adhered to.

Support the facilities development

Architectural / Building layout support (With Lear Facilities Dept)

Facilities / building support (With Lear Facilities Dept)

Customer support (for complete supplier park)

Product / Engineering / Quality Support (with Product Engineering)

Engineering / Product / DFM Support

DFMEA support

CAD slow build / Virtual build support

CAD / Product design review / support

Operations Support (With Local plant team / Operations)

APQP support

Process Engineering design and development (Supporting AME Manufacturing & Process Engineering Manager)

Plant CAD layouts

Plant Equipment / Purchasing Support (With AME and Central Purchasing)

Facility Detailing (Equipment lists)

Equipment Specifications

Equipment supplier selections meetings (With Lear Central Purchasing)

Equipment Purchasing support (Supplier selection / PO)

Equipment supplier progress meetings / support

Logistical Support (With Central and plant Logistics)

Customer Delivery design support (With Central Logistics)

Customer Delivery Support (With Central Logistics and Customer)

Customer Delivery design support

Delivery Pallet Design support

Lead time / sequencing discussions with customer

Key skills and Qualifications:

Greenfield site Project management: Architectural / Building / Facilities / Equipment

Experience with JIT assembly manufacturing in automotive

Willingness for frequent travels (up to 80%) to the Middle East Region

Fluent English
