FLINT is seeking Apprentice Electricians with Oil field experience for a 4-month project in Wood Buffalo AB starting January 12th 2026. In this position you will enjoy a 14 days in & 7 days out schedule 10-hour workdays camp accommodation travel pay- varies and benefits after 300 hours worked.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years experience as Apprentice Electrician in Oil Feilds.
  • Valid Apprentice Electrician certificate/ticket. 
  • 35 years of industrial electrical experience preferably in oil sands or heavy industry
  • Skilled in EHT installation LV cable terminations (120V600V) and instrumentation wiring
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and complete QA/QC documentation
  • Capable of working safely in extreme conditions and following permit-to-work systems
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: 
    • CSTS-2020 
    • H2S Alive 
    • Aerial Work Platform 
    • Fall Protection 
    • Standard First Aid 
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions. 
  • Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required. 
  • Must have own reliable transportation to site. 

Additional Information :

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
