Team Leader

ADGA has an immediate opening for anElectronicsTechnicianTeam Leadertojoin our this role you will serve as the senior technical lead supporting the maintenance of advanced electronic security systems including motion detectors intrusion detection systems drone detection technologies CCTV Radio Communication Public Address Metal Detectors X-Ray Machines & more. You will also provide guidance support and mentorshipto junior and intermediate Electronics Technicians. 

Responsibilities: 

In this role you will act as a point of contact with the Regional Supervisor and the clients Regional Authority while managing the flow of day-to-day will coordinate the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Plans as well as special projects ensuring the team operates safely and willbe responsible forapplying all policies and procedures understanding the legal liabilities associated with the position and adhering to occupational health and safety laws. Duties include complying with safety regulationsidentifyingsafety training needs completing initial safety and hazard assessments andparticipatingin accident include motivating team members to meet their goals evaluating the quality of their work mentoring apprentice Electronics Technicians and preparing reports for the Contractor Regional Supervisor and Regional Authority. You will alsobe requiredto complete On-the-Job Training (OJT) within twelve months of your start date.

Qualifications :

• Graduated with a diploma in Industrial/Communication Technician Electrical/Electronic EngineeringTechnologyor a similar discipline;and/or5 years ofrelevantexperience. 
• Minimum of 3 year of hands-on experiencemaintainingmultiple electronic systems such as: 
• Security (i.e. Intrusion Detection System CCTV Alarm Systems etc.) 
• Communication (i.e. Public Address System (PA) Intercom System Telephone System etc.) 
• Operational (i.e. Access Control Systems Key Management Systems etc.) 
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in the past 5 years managing a team of at least twopeopledirectly reporting to you. 
• Must be able to communicate clearly anddemonstratestrong interpersonal skills to solve problems effectively at the client site using sound judgment in complex technical situations and seeking advice when uncertain. 
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain andmaintaina Federal Government Enhanced Reliability Clearance (Level 1). ADGA will process clearances for successful candidates. 

Other Requirements: 

• Must hold or be willing to obtain a CompTIA A and Network. ADGA will sponsor for successful candidates who do not hold these certifications. 
• Working at Heights (Fall Arrest) First Aid Confined Space WHMIS will be considered strong assets.
