Location: Brooklyn NY 11206
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Shift: 7:30 PM 8:00 AM (3 shifts per week alternating weekends)
Pay Rate: $65 $68 per hour

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Postpartum / Mother Babyfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns.
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Perform IV insertion phlebotomy and administer medications as required.
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
Educate mothers and families on newborn care postpartum recovery and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional nursing standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child Health experience.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience.

Education Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.

Certifications & Licensure

Active New York State RN License.
Primary source verification of RN license/registration from NYSED.
AHA BLS certification.
AHA ACLS certification (not required at Bellevue).
NRP certification.
