Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Transition RN Fellowship at St. Mary Medical Center - Long Beach prepares and supports experienced nurses as they enter into a specialty unit. Our next RN Transition Fellowship program start date will begin March 16th 2026. Candidates must have at least 1 year of acute care experience to be eligible for this program. Positions are limited and early application is encouraged. Application period is open December 1st 2025 and will closed when a sufficient number of applicants have been received.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required.
  • Registered Nurse with current CA License in good standing
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Current employees: Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions within the past twelve(14) months and with at least a Meets standards on the last 2 performance evaluations.
