10-hour shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM; days may vary)
Travel Rate: $3245 $3548.50/week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support professional development and drive educational excellence within a high-volume Operating Room (OR) department. This role focuses on enhancing clinical competency leading training initiatives and ensuring compliance with organizational clinical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assess learning needs and develop targeted education plans for OR nursing staff.
Design coordinate and deliver training using evidence-based adult learning practices.
Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires; oversee annual and ongoing competency assessments.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to align education programs with departmental objectives.
Document all training activities evaluations and staff progress accurately and timely.
Serve as an expert clinical resource mentor and support for ongoing professional growth.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg clinical experience.
Active New York State RN license with Primary Source Verification (NYSED).
Current AHA BLS certification.
