In this role you will be responsible for Category Management of complex and highly technical categories reporting to the VP Strategic Sourcing - MRI.

You will develop plan and implement sourcing strategies focused on optimizing costs quality delivery and reliability of suppliers to ensure an exceptional supply base is developed and maintained to provide a competitive advantage for GE HealthCare.

The work model for the role is on-site at our Monterrey manufacturing facility with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Implement effective sourcing strategies in line with local and global business and category strategies.
• Ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
• Supplier selection and performance: TCO Savings Payment terms OTD Quality lead time budget target settings and follow up for continuous improvement.
• Provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines.
• Design and implement cost-out programs and/or processes to reach annual savings and operational cost reduction targets.

Qualifications for the role:

• Education in Supply Chain Management Engineering Operations or similar.
• 5 years of work experience in Sourcing.
• Proficient English level.
• Proficiency with software applications such as MS-Office (e.g. Excel Word PowerPoint Etc.). Experience With SAP And Ariba SSS Preferred.
• Knowledge about electrical components and their manufacturing processes preferred.
• Strong data analytics with Continuous Improvement mindset.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills in a multicultural global business environment.
• A collaborative solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
