Position Summary
The Director for Academic Advising (Director) reports to the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs/ Dean of Students (AVP/DOS) and supervises the daily and ongoing operation of the Academic Advising Center. The Director collaborates with program coordinators and other campus colleagues to ensure seamless student service delivery including but not limited to overseeing and managing First Year Programming the Second Year Success Program Undeclared/Expressed Interest Advising Drop-In Advising and other advising programs and initiatives.
FLSA:Exempt (Not eligible for overtime compensation. This position is eligible for full benefits.)
Anticipated Hiring Range:$9000 per month - $9563 per month commensurate with candidates education experience skills and training
CSU Classification Salary Range: $5053 per month- $16221per month

Academic Advising Centeroffers mandatory freshman advising and general education and graduation requirement advising for all students. The Center engages students in a developmental process that helps them clarify and implement individual educational plans consistent with their skills interests and values.
