How youll contribute

AExercise Physiologistwho excels in this role:

• Recognizes manages and rehabilitates patients

• Assumes the ongoing implementation and organization of the cardiac rehabilitation program.

• Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Develops and implements departmental goals plans and standards consistent with the clinical administrative legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.

• Collaborates and evaluates departmental operations including patient care delivery information technologies service level determination and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

• Assists with monitoring staffing activities including orienting evaluating and continuing education initiatives.

• Ensures that the department operates within compliance. Coordinates internal/external audits.

• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelors degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Bachelors degree in Exercise Science Required

• Masters degree in Exercise Physiology preferred

• Licenses: ACSM Preferred

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
