Independent Customer Committee Member

Remuneration: 2652 per annum reasonable expenses

Approximate Time Commitment: 0.5 to 1 day a month

Here at Trent & Dove Housing (T&D) were committed to our mission to provide homes and services that enable people and communities to thrive and were looking to recruit a new Independent Member of the Boards Customer Committee who can help us to achieve particular were looking for people who have insight into the demographics needs priorities or challenges of the communities where T&D operates in East Staffordshire North-west Leicestershire and/or South Derbyshire. The organisation has particularly high concentrations of stock in and around Burton upon Trent and Uttoxeter.

Comprising (in the main) of customers of Trent & Dove the role of an Independent Customer Committee Member will involve:

1. Working with the other members of our Customer Committee to ensure that customers are able to influence the Boards decision-making on key customer-related issues relating to T&Ds responsibilities as a landlord or its commitment to communities; and

1. Ensure that the customer voice shapes and continuously improves the homes and services that T&D provides and the community investments that it makes.

Trent & Dove is a Registered Provider of Social Housing (a Housing Association). For the past 24 years weve provided quality affordable homes for rent lease or shared ownership across East Staffordshire North-west Leicestershire and South Derbyshire and we currently have over 6500 homes under management. We are a non-profit with social purpose objectives; the profit we make is reinvested back into our organisation and our communities to continuously improve services for customers and to support the work of our community partners and stakeholders.
