Full Time Security Officer - 2nd Shift

Location: Lexington MA

Shift: Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Securitas USA is seeking a reliable professional Security Officer to join our team at a corporate facility in Lexington MA. The Security Officer will play a key role in maintaining a safe secure and welcoming environment for employees visitors and contractors. This position requires strong situational awareness excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the corporate campus including interior and exterior spaces.

• Control access to the facilityverify credentials manage visitor check-ins and enforce badge requirements.

• Respond promptly to security incidents alarms and emergencies following established procedures.

• Observe and report irregularities potential safety hazards and security breaches.

• Operate security systems such as CCTV access control panels and radio communications equipment.

• Conduct routine inspections of doors gates and sensitive areas to ensure proper security measures are in place.

• Provide assistance and excellent customer service to employees and guests.

• Write accurate and timely incident and shift reports.

• Collaborate with site management security leadership and emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior security law enforcement or military experience preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emergency situations.

• Basic computer skills and comfort with security technology including CCTV and access control systems.

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and conduct foot patrols in various weather conditions.

• Must pass background checks and if required drug screening.
