Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Lab Manager: Preparing complex apparatus chemical solutions and biological materials for daily practical lessons and examinations (GCSE/A-Level).
- Safety Champion: Ensuring strict compliance with CLEAPSS guidelines managing chemical inventory and maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment.
- Resource Coordinator: Repairing equipment managing stock and ordering new supplies efficiently within budget constraints.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Previous experience as a Science Technician (ideally 2 years) strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and a scientific qualification.
- Salary: Highly competitive salary paid on the local government scale (expected to be 28000 - 34000 per annum).
