Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA / Tester to join our Research team. This role welcomes candidates at both Junior and Mid-levels. You will work closely with Software Engineers Researchers and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables across multiple projects. Depending on your experience you will either support or lead key testing processes documentation and inter-departmental coordination.
This role is well-suited for individuals who are analytical persistent collaborative and eager to enhance the quality of systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
Core QA Responsibilities (all levels):

• Write refine and execute test cases for various project requirements.

• Perform functionality regression exploratory and acceptance testing.

• Identify document and track bugs with clarity and consistency.

• Maintain detailed documentation of test results bugs and retesting outcomes.

• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Research team members to clarify requirements and ensure smooth testing cycles.

Additional Responsibilities Based on Level:
Junior Level:

• Assist in writing and updating test cases and documentation.

• Execute test cases and support bug investigations.

• Work closely with Mid QA and SEs to understand testing expectations and processes.

• Contribute to a collaborative team-oriented environment.

Mid-Level:

• Own handoffs between departments during requirement gathering and final delivery.

• Define and write structured test cases acceptance criteria and documentation.

• Delegate testing tasks to Junior QA and coordinate test flows with SEs.

• Manage QA documentation repositories and support admin tasks (GitLab reporting).

• Ensure alignment across distributed teams and multiple system environments.

Junior Nice-To-Have Traits:

• Persistent restless personality not satisfied until tests are perfect and bugs are uncovered.

Mid-Level Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience coordinating tasks across teams and departments.

• Strong admin and documentation management skills.

• Experience with distributed teams and multi-system environments.

• Familiarity with GitLab and workflows.
