Job Summary
The Role:
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product UX/UI Backend QA) to define design and ship new features.
- Ensure performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and stability.
- Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends tools and technologies.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help guide the technical direction of the mobile team.
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers when needed.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK architecture components and modern development patterns (MVVM Clean Architecture Jetpack).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs third-party libraries and offline storage solutions.
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging optimization and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English communication skills both written and verbal (mandatory).
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of Firebase services.
- Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks (JUnit Espresso).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS GCP or Azure).
- Contribution to open-source projects or published apps in the Google Play Store.
