Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support PLC-based automation projects from FAT to SAT to plant acceptance ensuring alignment with standards and requirements.
- Design develop integrate and troubleshoot PLC robotic and vision system programs for new automation equipment.
- Create and maintain control system documentation and lead controls engineering activities for capital and process improvement projects.
- Provide hands-on engineering support mentor engineers/technicians and occasionally act as a controls technician when required.
- Conduct training for plant teams on new equipment or control systems and provide off-hours support during implementation.
- Serve as a key technical resource for controls architecture system debugging equipment integration and process reliability improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 7 years of experience implementing and integrating PLC systems in manufacturing
- Expertise in PLC programming HMI development network configuration and industrial automation
- Strong problem-solving critical thinking and communication skills
