Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Lead and implement Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter state rollouts including both configuration and integration tasks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior Guidewire associates in development and support activities.
- Analyze client business needs assess technical feasibility and communicate requirements to offshore teams.
- Perform hands-on Guidewire development work (configuration & integration) dedicating significant time to each release cycle.
- Coordinate with offshore teams to address and resolve production incidents and analyze defects.
- Review offshore development deliverables focusing on PCF configuration business rules and data model creation.
- Manage and communicate team progress and status updates to management.
- Offer technical support for Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter in production environments.
- Collaborate with integration owners and service providers to ensure seamless application operations.
- Utilize strong knowledge of Guidewire configurations (billing methods invoicing workflows commissions batch processes etc.).
- Integrate with third-party platforms and work with SQL Server or DB2 databases.
- Deploy applications on servers like WebSphere Apache Tomcat or JBOSS (J2EE containers).
- Develop using Guidewire Gosu code APIs methods rules and processes.
- Implement and consume web services (WSDL SOAP XML REST); experience with REST/SOAP web services is a plus.
- Use code versioning systems such as SVN.
- Must have 4-7 years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter experience including end-to-end implementation.
- Certified Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter professional preferred.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working directly with customers and strong communication skills in English.
