Job Summary

React Developer
Location: New York NY (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Type: Contract Long Term
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (35-hour work week)

We are hiring for our client a senior-level React JS Developer to support ongoing development of a Progressive Web Application built using React JS Core MongoDB and a microservices-based architecture. The ideal candidate has deep experience building enterprise-grade applications implementing offline capability and working with modern DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities:
Develop new features UI components and microservices within an existing architecture
Maintain and improve performance scalability and code quality of the application
Implement and enhance offline functionality using PWA methodologies
Support and extend the current React/.NET/MongoDB codebase
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance
Participate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning and collaborative development work

Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience
Advanced experience with React JS JavaScript TypeScript and modern UI architecture
Strong background with Core API design and backend service integration
Hands-on experience with MongoDB including schema design and optimization
Experience delivering microservices-based applications deployed on IIS
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and secure development standards
Experience using Veracode or similar tools for vulnerability remediation
Ability to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in both UI and API layers
Previous work in Agile environments with collaborative engineering teams
