About the Role

We are looking for a forward-thinking Gen AI Lead to drive AI-led transformation across enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AI/ML LLMs NLP and hands-on experience building scalable Gen AI solutions. This is a strategic and technical leadership role tailored for innovators who can convert business challenges into AI-powered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of Generative AI initiatives across multiple business units.
Design architect & implement solutions using LLMs RAG Prompt Engineering Vector Databases and NLP models.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify AI use cases and create actionable roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership for model fine-tuning evaluation deployment & optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Data Engineering Cloud Product & Enterprise Architecture.
Ensure AI solutions meet compliance data governance and security standards.
Mentor and guide junior AI engineers and developers.
Stay updated on advancements in Gen AI MLOps AI frameworks and industry trends.

Required Skills & Expertise

8 12 years of experience in AI/ML with at least 3 years in Gen AI.
Strong hands-on skills with LLMs (GPT Llama Claude etc.) Transformers RAG pipelines Vector DBs (Pinecone FAISS Chroma).
Expertise in Python ML frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch LangChain HuggingFace).
Experience building AI apps on Azure/AWS/GCP (Azure preferred for Birlasoft).
Strong understanding of data engineering pipelines MLOps CI/CD for AI.
Experience leading AI teams & delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
Excellent analytical communication & stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

Azure AI Engineer / OpenAI / AWS ML certifications
Experience with conversational AI chatbots & automation
Exposure to industry-specific Gen AI use cases (Manufacturing BFSI Healthcare)
