This is a Physical Therapist position requiring experience in an acute care medical center/long-term care facility/outpatient setting. The role involves a 5x8 day shift schedule including weekend work and potential on-call duties. Location:Kodiak Alaska United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services in acute care long-term care and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform patient assessments and evaluations.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in Epic.
- Participate in facility-wide coverage including some SNF settings.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- Valid AK Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification
- Valid AK Physical Therapist license
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Experience with Epic charting system
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required.
- On-call duties are not required.
- Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Coverage includes outpatient acute care and some SNF.
- Housing and a rental car/vehicle are provided by the facility.
- Pets are not allowed in provided housing.
- Travelers personal vehicle insurance policy must have rental car insurance to cover any accidents/damages to a rental car.
- Vehicles for traveler use are provided solely for use around town and should not be taken off-road or outside of 30-mile radius from facility.
- If traveler has time off during their contract they must turn in the vehicle during time off and they will be issued a new vehicle when they return.
- If you would like tire chains for vehicle this is will be an additional cost billed to traveler.
- Vehicle must be cleaned before return and with a full tank of gas.

Scheduling:
- 5x8 day shifts
- Guaranteed 72 hours per 2 weeks
- Traveler can be called off for 1 8-hour shift per 2 weeks
- Open to accommodating block schedule
